The Sphere League is a female futsal (indoor soccer) league organized in 2004. The players in the league are all in the entertainment industry - idols, singers, tarento, etc. Each team is sponsored by a different company, most of which are talent agencies. The league's name is a reference to the shape of the ball, and is also the shape of the logo of Fuji TV, which broadcasts the games.

The main season consists of the Skylark Group Series, a year-long series of tournaments. There are 6 tournaments in all, known as the "1st Stage" (starting in December) through the "5th Stage", ending with the Final in November. Teams earn league points during each tournament based on their performance. Individual players also earn player points for themselves.

The league also holds other tournaments, including the Goodwill Cup and the Skylark Group Challenge Cup.
