Taiki Nakabayashi is an amateur actor. He was born on January 6, 1985, and has two older siblings - a brother and a sister. He grew up in the Nara prefecture.

He attended Osaka Gakuin University, and acted in student-produced films while there. In 2006, he auditioned for the role of Yusaku Godai in TV Asahi's adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi's "Maison Ikkoku." Out of approximately 3,200 applicants, Nakabayashi was selected for the part.
