Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi is a collection of stories written by author Yoshi. The collection originally comprised two books, "Sora" (空) and "Umi" (海), which translate into "sky" and "sea." The title of the collection means "The Angels with Broken Wings," metaphorically referring to the women in the stories who enter adulthood with "broken wings" and cannot fly. Through various incidents and encounters, these women can reclaim themselves and continue flying high.

Yoshi later released a third book, "Hoshi" (星), which means "star."

The four stories "Celeb," "Live Chat," "Actress," and "Slot" were used as the basis for a drama adaptation in 2006. In 2007, a second drama series was broadcast, based on "Impulse," "Sakura," "Time," and an unpublished story, "Merchandise."
