Pony Canyon is scheduled to release a "best of" album to celebrate Aya Ueto's five-year-old solo career. The album will go on sale September 20, six days after Ueto's 21st birthday. There will be three versions of the album: a limited-run Collector's Edition (CD, DVD, and special wallet cord), a Premium Edition (CD and DVD), and a Standard Edition (CD only).

Highly acclaimed manga Nodame Cantabile will become a drama series this fall on Fuji TV, airing during the prized Monday 9:00pm time slot. Hiroshi Tamaki and Juri Ueno will star as Shinichi and Nodame, respectively. Other cast members include Naoto Takenaka (as the German conductor idolized by Chiaki), Eita, Asami Mizukawa, Keisuke Koide, and Misa Uehara.

ANN posted a press release regarding Anime Expo 2007. The dates have been set for June 29 to July 2, and the convention will return to the Long Beach Convention Center.
