At the Tokyo Game Show this weekend, Marvelous Interactive showcased two upcoming titles: "Harvest Moon: Kimi to Sodatsu Shima" for the Nintendo DS and "Harvest Moon Wii" for the Wii. Young actress Mirai Shida was chosen as the image girl for the Harvest Moon series, and she was present at the booth to help publicize the titles.

The Tokyo Game Show opened this weekend at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba. The show runs until Sunday. Among the announcements made at the show, Sony Computer Entertainment president Ken Kutaragi revealed that the Playstation 3 will have a retail price of 49,980 yen, instead of the previously announced 62,790 yen. This is a significant drop, but the price is still almost twice that of the Nintendo Wii.

The band EXILE has completed their audition for a new vocalist, and in the end, they chose Takahiro Tasaki. He will make his debut with the group on a single to be released on December 6. See EXILE's official site.
