One of the big stories from the recent Kohaku Uta Gassen was DJ OZMA's overly inappropriate performance. He was surrounded by female dancers wearing costumes that made them appear nude. Viewers called NHK to complain, and the station has received approximately 750 complaints as of Monday.

This isn't the first time a performer has included a surprise during the popular year-end music show, but it appears that DJ OZMA's stunt went too far.

NHK posted an apology on its official website. There is also talk of DJ OZMA potentially being blacklisted by the station.

During the concert, it was announced that Morning Musume leader Hitomi Yoshizawa will be graduating from the group in the spring. Her graduation will take place on May 6 at the Saitama Super Arena, the last concert of Morning Musume's spring tour.

Fellow member Miki Fujimoto will succeed Yoshizawa as the group's leader.
