Singers Brother Tom and Aimi Yuguchi have formed a special unit called "amtm" to do a Japanese language cover of last year's hit song, "Young Folks." The song is originally by Swedish group Peter, Bjorn & John. Often referred to as the "whistle song," it became popular on the Japanese airwaves, even taking the #1 spot on the J-WAVE charts.

The cover version will be titled "Koi wa Bjorn ~No Mo-so No Love~." The single hits stores on April 25.

SMAP's Masahiro Nakai has been chosen by coach Senichi Hoshino as the official "support captain" for Japan's Olympic baseball team. At the end of November, Nakai will travel with the team to Taiwan, where they will be playing for an Olympic berth at the Asia preliminaries.

Nakai, who is a big baseball fan, expressed his enthusiasm in supporting the team. "I'll fetch balls, I'll clean, I'll do anything."

Singer-songwriter Angela Aki will sing the theme song for the upcoming TBS drama series, "Kodoku no Kake." It will be a love song titled "Kodoku no Kakera."

This is Aki's first theme song for a drama series. It will also be her first release since she got married two weeks ago. The single goes on sale on May 23.
