Former Morning Musume member Nozomi Tsuji is reportedly getting married to actor Taiyo Sugiura, and is currently two months pregnant. The two started dating last year.

Tsuji just recently formed the new unit Gyaruru with Ami Tokito and Galsone. She was also scheduled to perform in the play "Itsunohika Kimi Kaeru" this month, but backed out because of sickness. It was reported that she had gastroenteritis, but it may have been a cover for her actual condition.

Norika Fujiwara will appear in a new commercial for Gekkeikan's "Tsuki" sake product, along with actor Yoshizumi Ishihara and critic Tetsuya Miyazaki. The ad begins airing on the 12th.

Muga Tsukaji (of Drunk Dragon) has been chosen to star in the revival of Fuji TV's "Hadaka no Taisho Horoki" drama series. The drama was based on the life of Kiyoshi Yamashita, a talented artist who died in 1971. A total of 83 episodes were aired between 1980 and 1997, and there have been many requests for a remake.

Tsukaji happens to bear a resemblance to Gannosuke Ashiya, the original starring actor who passed away in 2004.

The drama is scheduled to broadcast this summer. Asami Mizukawa and Hisako Manda will co-star with Tsukaji.

Kabuki actor Ebizo Ichikawa XI reportedly has a new girlfriend, but it's not actress Saki Takaoka as was rumored last month. The woman, who is two years older than Ichikawa, was a TV Asahi employee until she resigned in March 2005, and she is now studying to take the bar exam later this month. It is also rumored that she once dated a "Hills-zoku" company president several years ago.

This latest romance is a change of pace for Ichikawa, who is known for his past relationships with female celebrities. He dated actress Ryoko Yonekura before breaking up with her at the end of 2005. This past February, he ended a 3-month relationship with talento Eriko Sato. And just last month, he was seen holding hands with Takaoka.

The new couple met through a mutual friend after Ichikawa returned from a performance in Paris in March. They are said to have started dating last month, and they have been spotted frequently on dates.

Talento Takashi Fujii and his wife Otoha announced on Monday that they are expecting a child. Otoha is currently 4 months pregnant. The two have been married since July 2005.

On Sunday, seiyu unit Aice5 performed at Pacifico Yokohama in front of approximately 5,000 fans. The show ended their first tour, which began on April 29.

After the members performed their encore and left the stage, the screen displayed an "important announcement": the group is planning to break up at their Yokohama Arena concert on September 20, which also happens to be the birthday of leader Yui Horie. The five members have not yet commented on the announcement.
