Kaori Mochida, the vocalist of Every Little Thing, is appearing in a new commercial for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation's credit cards. The ad begins airing on the 9th.

Actress Nanako Matsushima will appear in a new commercial for KOSÉ's popular face lotion Sekkisei. The commercial's song will be by singer MISIA. Broadcast begins on the 16th.

This summer, Fuji TV's Tuesday 10:00pm time slot will be occupied by the drama series, "Ushi ni Negai wo: Love & Farm." The story revolves around six third-year students at the Tokyo University of Agriculture who go to Hokkaido for a summer to get first-hand training in an agricultural setting.

The students will be played by Tetsuji Tamayama, Keisuke Koide, Atsuhiko Nakata (of comedy duo Oriental Radio), Saki Aibu, Karina, and Erika Toda. The six will actually perform tasks such as milking a cow, cleaning pig sties, and feeding animals. One scene even features a cow giving birth.

The series starts on July 3.

The TV Asahi drama special "Teresa Teng Monogatari," starring Yoshino Kimura as the legendary singer, is scheduled to air on June 2. As a promotional tie-in, approximately 80,000 karaoke machines throughout the country will be displaying special versions of the videos for two of Teng's songs.

May 8 marked the death anniversary of Teng. Starting on the 9th, Big Echo and Shidax machines will include special videos for the songs "Tsugunai" and "Toki no Nagare ni Mi wo Makase." The videos will include "duet" scenes, combining footage of Teng performing with clips of Kimura in the drama special. The tie-in is planned to last for half a year.
