It seems that divorce is near for singer akko and music producer Takeshi Kobayashi.

In 1995, the two formed the group MY LITTLE LOVER with Kenji Fujii, but it has since become a solo unit for akko. Kobayashi and akko got married the following year, and they now have two kids.

In January of this year, magazine FRIDAY reported that Kobayashi was having an affair with singer Yo Hitoto. The relationship was denied, but it appears to be the cause behind the divorce.

Singer Tomomi Kahara has apparently stopped working since the end of last year. She starred in a musical in December, but it ended its run early after Kahara became ill with both bronchitis and inflammation of her vocal cords, according to her agency. Due to her busy schedule, it is said that her health and mental balance have become poor, and she is currently recovering at home. It is possible she may return to work later this month.
