Pro wrestler Jaguar Yokota and her husband Hirokatsu Kinoshita are making their singing debut with a number titled "Ai no Duet." The song is written by Tsutomu Uozumi and composed by Koji Makaino. It goes on sale on October 17.

The mystery countdown by rock band LUNA SEA has finally reached zero. The group's official website revealed that they will be reuniting for a single concert, to be held at the Tokyo Dome on December 24. The show is titled "GOD BLESS YOU ~One Night Dejavu~."

Yukihiko Tsutsumi's "Jigyaku no Uta" (also known as "Happily Ever After") has been added to the Special Screenings lineup of this year's Tokyo International Film Festival (October 20-28).

The movie is based on Yoshiie Goda's 4-koma manga of the same name, and stars Miki Nakatani and Hiroshi Abe. It also opens in theaters in October.

V6's Junichi Okada will star in a new Fuji TV drama series titled "SP," short for "Security Police." The script is being written by Kazuki Kaneshiro, who won the Naoki Prize in 2000 for "GO." This is his first time writing for a television drama.

Okada plays Kaoru Inoue, a member of a police escort division. Ever since losing his parents at a young age, he has possessed heightened senses and a photographic memory. He also has other skills, such as analyzing footprints. His boss is being played by Shinichi Tsutsumi. Actress Yoko Maki is also in the cast.

The show's general director is Katsuyuki Motohiro, who handled the popular "Odoru Daisousasen" series. Filming begins next month, but the series begins on November 3. It will air in Fuji TV's Saturday 11:10pm time slot.
