Takuya Ohashi, the vocalist of pop duo Sukima Switch, revealed on Friday that he recently got married.

The announcement was made on the group's official website. Ohashi's wife is reportedly a non-celebrity, though no further details such as age or occupation were given.

Yoshihiko Inohara of V6 and actress Asaka Seto are getting married, it was revealed on Friday. Wanting to inform his fans first, Inohara made the announcement in front of a crowd of 12,000 in Tokyo, during the first concert of their current tour.

After the show, Inohara and Seto held a press conference. They first met in 1995, when Inohara appeared in the NTV drama series, "Owaranai Natsu," which starred Seto. They started out as friends but gradually become lovers. At one point, they broke up, but they happened to meet again five years later at a friend's Christmas party in 2004. According to them, it felt like fate, and they got back together.

On September 11 of last year, Seto and Inohara had visited her home and were driving back to Tokyo when Inohara proposed. Seto, who was driving at the time, said she was so surprised that she doesn't remember how she responded.

The two are already living together, and they plan to submit their marriage registration within the next few days. At the press conference, Seto showed her diamond ring, weighing roughly 2.8 carats.

This fall, broadcaster WOWOW will air a drama adaptation of "Nagai Nagai Satsujin," a mystery novel by award-winning author Miyuki Miyabe. The drama is part of the network's "Drama W" project, which started in 2003 and has been slowly growing.

"Nagai Nagai Satsujin" stars Kyozo Nagatsuka, supported by a main cast of Toru Nakamura, Shosuke Tanihara, Aya Hirayama, Nao Omori, Miki Sakai, Shunsuke Kubozuka, Yuko Ito, and Naomi Nishida.

The drama will air at 10:00pm on November 4.

The 2nd Mobile Phone Novel Awards were presented on Thursday afternoon. The grand prize was won by 29-year-old writer reY, who wrote "Shiroi Jersey ~Sensei to Watashi~," a painful love story between a teacher and a high school girl.

The other winners were:
  • Excellence Award: "Sorairo Omoi" by Ayaka.; "√Setten" by *R*
  • Tsutaya Award: "Last Game" by Kana
  • 7-Eleven Award: "Kiss Made no Kyori" by Ageha Sano
  • Joysound Award: "Hakanai Monotachi" by ERINA
  • Special Judges' Prize: "BITTER.O" by Akio; "Braun-kan no Naka no Kanojo" by Norane
  • Children's Award: "ID01" by Nuko
All of the winning novels except "ID01" will be published in book form by Starts Publishing.

Nikkan Sports also noted that the official website for the awards ran a survey asking, "Which actress would you want as the heroine of a mobile novel?" Erika Toda was announced as the top choice, according to the survey.

Singer Kaori Kawamura announced on Friday that she divorced guitarist Motoaki this past June.

The couple married in February 1999, and in 2001 they gave birth to a daughter. However, since 2004 they had been living separately.

Kawamura plans to hold a press conference on Saturday.
