X JAPAN is reportedly filming the PV for its new song on the 22nd, appearing together in front of fans for the first time in ten years. According to a source, the band will play on a giant stage on the roof of Aqua City in Odaiba, while a large monitor displays their performance. A helicopter will also be used for shooting the video.

The song, titled "I.V.," is being used as the theme for the horror film "Saw IV." It was written and composed by Yoshiki, and is said to include a previously unreleased guitar track by hide. No CD release date has been announced yet.

Hiroshi Nagano of V6 will reprise his role as Ultraman Tiga in an upcoming Ultraman film, due out next year. The movie, tentatively titled "Daikessen! Cho Ultra 8 Kyodai," is being directed by Takeshi Yagi. Including Ultraman Tiga, eight Ultraman characters will appear, but the other seven have not yet been revealed.

Nagano last played the character in the 2000 film, "Ultraman Tiga: The Final Odyssey."

"Daikessen! Cho Ultra 8 Kyodai" is scheduled to open next fall.

Actress and singer Mari Natsuki and percussionist Nobu Saito are getting married, it was learned on Wednesday. The two are members of the band GIBIER du MARI, which was formed during the spring of last year. They began dating this summer, and have already decided to tie the knot next spring.

This is the first marriage for the 55-year-old Natsuki, but is the second for the 56-year-old Saito.

Talento Mieharu announced on Wednesday that his first child has been born. The baby girl, named Kokoro, was born prematurely on September 25, weighing only 1,828 grams. She remained in the hospital until October 16, when she weighed 2,424 grams.

Mieharu got married on April 3 of this year.

Comedian Kenji Hirai and gravure idol Kana Tsugihara are collaborating to release a single next month. This is the second single for the "tone-deaf" Hirai (he released "Ookina Furudokei" last year), but it is Tsugihara's singing debut.

The high-spirited duet, titled "Futamawari Chigai no Love Song," is about an affair between a "choi-ero" manager (Hirai) and a "choi-waru" OL (Tsugihara). It goes on sale November 7.

On Wednesday, the finals of the 2007 World Miss University Contest in Japan were held in Tokyo. Out of the 2,500 women who had entered the competition, 19-year-old Saori Kawamura came out on top. She is currently a second-year student at Kwansei Gakuin, where she is studying French.

Singers melody. and Beni Arashiro served as presenters and guest performers at the event.

Kawamura will face off against representatives from 61 other countries at the world competition, which is being held in Seoul on November 1.

Kaho is starring in a movie about a high school chorus group, titled "Utatama." Directed by Makoto Tanaka, the film also features Gori and Hiroko Yakushimaru in major roles.

Other cast members include Rie Tomosaka, Kanpei Hazama, Hideo Ishiguro, Eri Tokunaga, Akiko, and Sayuri Iwata. The movie opens next spring.
