21-year-old Yuki Goto, a former member of EE JUMP, was arrested on Saturday on charges of theft. Also known as the younger brother of ex-Morning Musume member Maki Goto, he retired from show business in 2002.

Late at night on July 15, Goto and two friends entered a construction site in the Edogawa ward of Tokyo. They stole approximately 80 reels of metal electric cable, worth an estimated one million yen. Police rushed to the scene after a tip from an eyewitness, but the three had already escaped.

The three young men had formed a group to steal items for resale. Goto's two accomplices were later arrested, but it appears that he continued operating the group after replacing the members. Police are currently investigating his possible involvement in other crimes.

On the morning of October 20, Goto turned himself in at the Komatsugawa station in Edogawa, accompanied by a lawyer. He has already admitted to the charges in the aforementioned case.
