Singer-songwriter Ai Kawashima is serving as a voice actress for the first time in the video game "Chocobo's Dungeon: Toki-Wasure no Meikyuu," developed by Square Enix for the Wii. She will play the voice of Raphael. Kawashima's upcoming single, "Door Crawl," will also appear in the game.

"Door Crawl" goes on sale December 12. "Chocobo's Dungeon" is being released the next day.

SHOGO of rock band 175R just divorced Eriko Imai (of SPEED) last month, but Josei Seven reports that he already has a new lover. Earlier this month, he was seen on a date with gravure idol Yuka Kosaka, and he spent a night at her apartment. According to the magazine, the two have been dating since the spring, just after SHOGO and Imai began living separately, and they are said to have spare keys to each other's apartments.

A representative from SHOGO's management says he heard that the two are good friends. Meanwhile, Kosaka's agent was unavailable for comment.

For the new year, Fuji TV will air a drama special based on Shosuke Kurakane's historical comedy manga "Anmitsu Hime." The comic, which was published in the late 1940s to the mid 1950s, has been adapted to film, television, and stage before.

Mao Inoue is starring as the titular tomboyish princess. The cast includes Keisuke Koide.

Actress Maiko Kikuchi revealed on her website that she is currently pregnant with her first child. The baby is expected to be born next spring.

Kikuchi got married this past July to a company manager.
