26-year-old TV Asahi announcer Mariko Dou is getting married next spring, it was learned on Thursday. Her partner is a 30-year-old man working for Sony Music Records.

According to sources close to Dou, the pair have been dating for more than two years. They met through work, as Dou has been a host on "Music Station" since 2004.

Dou also currently appears on "Kusano Kid" and "Yajiuma Plus." In October, she made her acting debut with a guest appearance as herself in the television drama "Mop Girl." Dou reportedly plans to continue working while married.

The Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour has announced its 2008 lineup and tour dates for North America. The main artists are Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, and Blessthefall, but the tour also features three Japanese bands: MUCC, D'espairsRay, and The Underneath.

According to a press release, "the tour is scheduled to hit 43 cities in the U.S. and Canada between late February and late April 2008," though the Canadian dates won't be announced until next month. The tour will kick off in Denver on February 29 and continue until at least April 15 in Seattle.

Noriyuki Makihara has been chosen to do the theme song of Tatsuya Ogishima's movie "KIDS," which opens on February 2. The song, titled "Firefly ~ Boku wa Ikiteiku," will be released four days later.

"KIDS" is an adaptation of Otsuichi's short story "Kiz/Kids" about a young man with the power to transfer other people's wounds to his own body. The movie stars Teppei Koike and Hiroshi Tamaki.

A few theme songs for next season's television dramas were recently announced.

Tatsuro Yamashita is providing "Zutto Issho Sa" for Fuji TV's "Bara no nai Hanaya," which stars Shingo Katori and Yuko Takeuchi. With a scheduled release date in early March, it will be his first single since 2005.

Actress Alisa Mizuki, on the other hand, will release her first single in five years. The song, called "ENGAGED," will be used as the theme for the NTV series "Saito-san," which she stars in. Recording for the song actually began two years ago, but it was constantly being rewritten. The single goes on sale February 6.

Then on February 13, melody. will release "Haruka," the theme song for TBS' "Daisuki!!" The show is Karina's first starring role in a drama series.
