Rock band Unicorn, fronted by singer Tamio Okuda, has announced that they will be reuniting this year. The group, which was active from 1987 to 1993, plans to release a new song this spring, followed by a nationwide tour that includes the Nippon Budokan.

Around last summer, Unicorn's five members - Okuda, Koichi Nishikawa, Isamu Teshima, Kazushi Horiuchi, and Yoshiharu Abe - made the decision to reunite. On New Year's Day, they launched a new website for their upcoming activities.

On February 18, Do As Infinity will be releasing a music video collection called "Do The Clips." To celebrate and to help promote the collection, Avex is putting all 28 videos up on their official Youtube channel.

Four videos will be added to the channel each week, up until the collection's release. The first set is already up, corresponding to Do As Infinity's first four singles.

The group has also announced that their first single of 2009 will go on sale in the spring.

Fashion model and actress Toshimi Sugawara (28) got married in early December to a 35-year-old businessman, it was learned on Wednesday.

According to a source close to Sugawara, the two met through a friend in 2007. They decided to register their marriage on December 3, the one-year anniversary of their relationship. There appear to be no plans for a wedding ceremony or a reception party.

The two are already living together in Tokyo. Sugawara plans to continue her entertainment career while married.
