Entertainment company Avex Group Holdings has announced that this year's shareholders' meeting will again be held at the Saitama Super Arena. The event had been held at the Tokyo International Forum since 2001, but last year Avex moved it to the much larger Super Arena in honor of the company's 20 years as a publicly traded business.

Nearly 9,000 shareholders attended last year's meeting, which featured a special concert by 12 of Avex's biggest acts, including Namie Amuro, Kumi Koda, and TRF. While that meeting allowed shareholders to bring a guest, this year will reportedly be limited to shareholders only. It will also be a smaller concert with only 6 to 7 artists performing, though the participants are apparently not being announced beforehand. The meeting is scheduled for June 28.

Actor Shosuke Tanihara (36) and talento Emi Miyake (31) are expecting a third child, according to this week's issue of Shukan Josei. Miyake is said to be eight months pregnant already, with her delivery scheduled for April.

Tanihara and Miyake have been married since March 2007. They gave birth to a daughter that October, and Miyake has a son from her previous marriage to actor Issei Ishida.

Enka star Jero is doing his first theme song for a movie. It will be used in the upcoming animated film, "Crayon Shin-chan: Otakebe! Kasukabe Yasei Oukoku," which is scheduled to open in theaters on April 18.

The song, titled "Yanchado," is written and composed by Ataru Nakamura. The CD single will be released on April 15, just before the movie's opening.
