Popular idol/talento Waka Inoue (29), also known by the nickname "Wakapai," is currently in a relationship with Shigeyuki Totsugi (35) of acting troupe TEAM NACS. Both celebrities informed their fans of the news through their official blogs on Friday.
The couple said they just recently started dating, but they are taking the relationship seriously. It is said that Yo Oizumi (36), also a member of TEAM NACS, helped set the two up.
Hints of the relationship between Inoue and Totsugi first surfaced earlier this month, when a weekly magazine published pictures of the two together around Inoue's birthday on May 13.

Female pop group SPEED, which reunited last year, has announced their first nationwide tour in six years. Although they initially broke up in 2000, they have had brief reunions since then for charity events, including a "Save the Children" concert tour in 2003.
Now back together permanently, the group already put out a new single in November and is releasing their second, "S.P.D.," on May 27. This is said to be their first time having a song created by musicians outside Japan, as the single's title track is written by Kye Sones, Peter Martin, and Jonathan Shave.
In addition, SPEED has scheduled a best "re-track" album for August 5, followed by a national tour starting in September. Titled "FamilyMart presents SPEED LIVE 2009," the tour begins in Nagoya on September 5-6 and ends in Niigata on October 25. It covers 16 shows in 10 cities, including concerts at Osaka-jo Hall and Nippon Budokan.

Actress Rie Miyazawa (36) became a mother on Wednesday. She gave birth to a daughter at a hospital in Tokyo.
When Miyazawa announced her engagement in February, she was already six months pregnant. Because her husband lives in Hawaii and frequently travels between there and Japan, it was speculated that Miyazawa would end up giving birth in Hawaii.
The couple officially registered their marriage in April and held their wedding ceremony in Aoyama, Tokyo, around the same time. Miyazawa has already said that she plans to continue her acting career.
