Singer-songwriter Shion Tsuji (19) has penned her first theme song for a feature-length film. The song, titled "Hoshii Mono," will be used in Yoshimitsu Morita's "Watashi Dasuwa," which opens this October.
"Watashi Dasuwa" is the first original screenplay by Morita since "(Haru)" in 1996. The movie stars Koyuki (32) in her first solo starring role, playing a woman who returns to her hometown and begins giving away money to others to help them find happiness.
Tsuji just made her major label debut last year with "Candy kicks." Her "Hoshii Mono" does not yet have a scheduled release date.

Gravure idol Reimi Tachibana (23) suddenly announced on Saturday that she is retiring from the entertainment industry.
She wrote honestly on her blog that she was unhappy with herself and with the world of show business. She apparently had worries about her career, and there may have been problems between her and her management.
Tachibana got her break as an idol and model in 2008 when she was chosen as a member of NTV's Nittelegenic group. She was also active as the vocalist for the trance duo NABIA.
