Singer and model Anna Tsuchiya (25) announced on her blog on Saturday that she is currently pregnant. She and the father, a stylist named Yamato who is three years older, are expected to register their marriage soon.

Yamato has been Tsuchiya's stylist for many years now. Their relationship apparently started about two years ago. Tsuchiya is said to be three months pregnant, with the baby due next spring.

Tsuchiya was previously married to model Joshua between 2004 and 2006, and they had one son together. Joshua suddenly passed away last year at the age of 25.

Morning Musume member Koharu Kusumi (17) will be graduating from the group this December, it has been announced. In addition to leaving Morning Musume, she will be departing from Hello! Project, and is said to be planning to continue her career as a model.

Kusumi has apparently been aspiring to become a model for a long time. She joined Morning Musume in 2005 as its only 7th generation member, and since then has branched into anime voice acting, along with some solo work under the name Kirari Tsukishima, her character from "Kirarin Revolution."

Kusumi last performance with Morning Musume will be a concert on December 6 at the Wel City hall in Tokyo.

On Friday, NHK revealed its male lead for next year's morning drama series, "Gegege no Nyoubou." The drama, first announced this past April, stars Nao Matsushita (24) as the wife of "Gegege no Kitaro" mangaka Shigeru Mizuki. Rising actor Osamu Mukai (27) has been selected to play the part of Mizuki.

"Gegege no Nyoubou" is scheduled to run next year from March 29 to September 25.
