Rock band An Cafe plans to release a best album for the first time on December 9. The date is less than a month before their concert at the Nippon Budokan on January 4, 2010, which will be their last before they go on indefinite hiatus.

The album will span two discs with over 30 songs, including singles, rare songs from their early days, and previously unreleased material.

For the fourth year in a row, Oricon conducted a survey about celebrities who look best in glasses. A thousand men and women participated in the survey, which was completed last month.

Comedy duo Ogiyahagi recaptured the #1 spot on the men's list, pushing Masaharu Fukuyama back to #2. Korean actor Bae Yong Joon was #3.

On the women's list, comedienne Yasuko Mitsuura (of Oasiz) ranked #1, followed by Angela Aki and Rie Shibata.

It was learned on Thursday that 39-year-old singer Takanori Nishikawa (T.M.Revolution) was a victim of fraud several years ago. The case finally came to light after police arrested the suspected swindler late last month.

The man, arrested on September 29, is 34-year-old Yasuo Saito, an employee of an automobile dealer. Nishikawa had been acquainted with him for a long time, having bought multiple vehicles from him. In April 2003, Saito told Nishikawa that his family might be in danger because of a large debt, supporting his claim with falsified documents based on a piece of land owned by Saito's relative's company.

Nishikawa lent him a sum of 50 million yen, which Saito deposited into his own bank account. The amount was never repaid, and Nishikawa eventually filed a complaint with police in November 2004.

Nishikawa's agency stated that the singer has no comment on the matter.

On Thursday, it was revealed that talento Millie Okada (48) has been divorced since spring of last year. This was her second marriage.

Okada originally married talento Masaaki Sakai (62) in 1989 and gave birth to two daughters before divorcing in 2001. She got remarried in 2003 to sports trainer Norio Yaginuma (52).

TBS weathercaster Mio Nemoto (30) is getting married. Her fiance is a 37-year-old doctor at a university hospital. They plan to hold their wedding in December.

Nemoto was introduced to the man by a friend, and they have been dating since about a year ago. The man proposed to her around the start of this year.

Nemoto currently appears on shows such as the weekday morning program "Minomonta no Asazuba!"
