Actor Takuya Fujioka died on Friday afternoon from chronic renal failure at the age of 76. He had first become ill in April of last year, but continued working until he was urgently hospitalized in February of this year. Many know Fujioka best as the father, Daikichi Okakura, in the first seven seasons of the long-running TBS drama “Wataru Seken wa Oni Bakari.” He was replaced by Ken Utsui for the eighth and current season due to his health.
