July 10 is designated as “Natto Day,” and this year, three AKB48 members have formed a new unit to help promote the fermented soy beans. Miho Miyazaki, Tomomi Itano, and Tomomi Kasai are all said to love natto, so as a result, they have united to become “Natto Angel.”
Their song “Natto Punch!” has already been playing in supermarkets to help sell natto, but it wasn’t until Thursday that it was revealed that the song was sung by AKB48 members.
