AKB48 forms Team Dragon unit for “Dragon Ball Kai”

Seven of AKB48’s top members have formed a temporary unit called Team Dragon, as they are singing the new ending theme of the “Dragon Ball Kai” anime series. The song, titled “Kokoro no Hane,” made its debut on Sunday’s episode.

The members of Team Dragon are Atsuko Maeda (18), Minami Takahashi (19), Yuki Kashiwagi (18), Haruna Kojima (22), Yuko Oshima (21), Tomomi Itano (18), and Mayu Watanabe (16).

No release date has been announced yet for the song.
