Aki Nishihara explores two sides of love in Fuji TV drama

Young actress Aki Nishihara has been cast in the starring role of Fuji TV’s daytime drama series “Shiro to Kuro,” scheduled to begin its run on June 30.

The “white and black” meaning of the show’s title refers to two contrasting brothers who form a love triangle with Nishihara’s character. Katsuya Kobayashi plays the “good” older brother who happens to be engaged, while Yuki Sato (of “Kamen Rider Kabuto”) plays the “bad” and wild younger brother. Rumiko Koyanagi and Kei Yamamoto are among the supporting cast members.

“Shiro to Kuro” will air on weekdays at 1:30pm.
