On Sunday, Akiko Wada revealed that she underwent surgery last week to have several polyps removed from her colon. At the start of her show, “Akko ni Omakase!,” she mentioned that the operation took almost an hour as seven polyps were removed. The operation took place on Thursday, but by Saturday she was already back to work for a radio show.
Wada has had similar surgeries multiple times in the past. Her last one was in May of last year.
