“Akumu no Elevator” adapted to film

Akumu no Elevator,” written by actor/author Hanta Kinoshita, is being turned into a movie. The suspense comedy, which is based on the first installment of Kinoshita’s popular “Akumu series,” will be the directorial debut of actor Keisuke Horibe.

The story unfolds in a stopped elevator, where four men and women are trapped. Masaaki Uchino has been given the lead role. Filming already finished at the end of last year, and theatrical release has been scheduled for this coming fall.
