Director Kenji Murakami is working on a film called “ALLDAYS: Nichome no Asahi,” whose title is a direct play on the blockbuster “Always: Sanchome no Yuhi.” Like its inspiration, the film deals with life in Tokyo in the 1950s, but focuses on the gay district of Shinjuku ni-chome.
Young actor Ryosuke Miura stars in the movie, along with Shoichi Matsuda and Momoko Tani. Theatrical release is scheduled for February 2.
