TBS announcer Airi Yamada has become a mother at the age of 30. She gave birth to her first child, a boy, on Monday afternoon.
Yamada has been part of TBS since 2002 and was well known as a host on “Hanamaru Market.” In 2004 she married a producer, and this past January she announced that she was expecting a baby. She has been on maternity leave since April. It is not known yet when she will return to work.
