Announcer Kamei pregnant

TV Tokyo announcer Kyoko Kamei is currently four months pregnant, and is scheduled to give birth in late October.

Kamei married Yomiuri Giants pitcher Masanori Hayashi in December 2007. She plans to resign from TV Tokyo on April 30 to devote herself to raising the child and supporting her husband.

Hayashi underwent surgery on his left elbow in November and is currently working on regaining his spot as the team’s starting pitcher.
