Announcer Rena Yamada (31) will soon be getting married to a 33-year-old salaryman, it was learned on Wednesday. The pair both attended Keio University and were part of the same club, but it wasn’t until they met again in 2006 that they started a relationship.
Yamada was named Miss Keio back in 1997. After graduation she entered television and later joined TBS in 2002. She filled many roles there, including an assignment as a weathercaster on “NEWS23.” Now a freelance announcer, she plans to continue working after the wedding.
