Announcer Yuuki Ooki to marry

TV Asahi announcer Yuuki Ooki (29) is soon getting married. According to sources from the network, Ooki’s fiance is a 35-year-old company employee. The two plan to turn in their marriage registration in May, followed by a wedding ceremony this fall.

The two reportedly met about a year ago, introduced to each other by a friend. Despite their busy work schedules, their relationship progressed.

The man is said to be a graduate of Ritsumeikan University, where he was a linebacker on the school’s (American) football club. He was part of the team that won the 1994 Koshien Bowl against Hosei University. He currently works for a company that does production, research, and advertising in the women’s fashion industry.

Ooki has been a regular on dozens of television shows, including an assistant role on “Cream Nantoka” that initially launched her career. It is said that Ooki is not pregnant, and she plans to continue working while she is married.
