Teen actor Aoi Nakamura (19) has been given the starring role in “Hoshi no Furu Machi,” a movie adaptation of Hidenori Hara’s manga of the same name. The film was first revealed in January, but the cast was not yet announced at the time.
Koji Kawano is directing the movie, which tells the story of a young boy (played by Nakamura) who fails to make it into a Tokyo high school and ends up moving to the Toyama prefecture. However, his failure turns out to be a blessing in disguise, as his new environment leads him to discover what he really wants to do in life.
