Reports that actress Aya Hirayama and actor Kei Tanaka are dating have recently become public. They first met last year when they both appeared in the movie “Backdancers!,” which opened in Japan last September. Hirayama played a dancer who gradually falls into a relationship with her manager, played by Tanaka. Around April, during the final stages of filming, the two began dating in real life.
Neither Hirayama’s nor Tanaka’s agency has confirmed the relationship, saying that the two are just friends.
