Ayaka wins Best Teen Artist at MTV awards

The MTV Student Voice Awards 2006 were held on Sunday, and singer/songwriter Ayaka took the Best Teen Artist Award. Other winners include: HALCALI (Best Teen Group), w-inds. (Best Dance Artist), “London Bridge” by Fergie (Best Ringtone), “Junrenka” by Shonannokaze (Best Ringtone), “Sotsugyou” by Miliyah Kato (Favorite Lyrics), Maki Horikita (Best Teen Actress), Hayato Ichihara (Best Teen Actor), Rina Ota (Best Teen Fashionista), Spongebob Squarepants (Tag Along Character), “Sugar & Spice” (Best Teen Movie), Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto (Best Athlete), Air Vocal (Wannabee Award), and KREVA (Respect Award).
