Berryz Koubou’s Maasa Sudo cast in “Light Novel” adaptation

Toru Honda’s popular light novel series “Light Novel no Tanoshii Kakikata” is being turned into a live-action film next year, with Maasa Sudo (17) of Berryz Koubou playing the heroine role.

Published by GA Bunko, the novel series is a romantic comedy about a male high school student named Yakumo Atae, who knows that his classmate Tsurugi Yabusame is secretly a light novel author.

Sudo will play the part of Tsurugi. The rest of the cast, including the protagonist Yakumo, will be announced in the near future.
