BoA is doing a duet with popular American singer Akon, it has been announced. She is featured on a song on the album “Freedom+2,” which Akon is releasing in Japan next month.
“Freedom+2″ contains songs from Akon’s third album “Freedom” that was released last year in the U.S. The song “Beautiful” from that album was originally done with Kardinall Offishall and Colby O’Donis, but Akon decided to make a new version with a female artist from Asia for the upcoming album. Akon decided to offer the collaboration to BoA, who just made her American debut with an album in March.
