“Boys on the Run,” a boxing manga by author Kengo Hanazawa, is reportedly getting a live-action film adaptation. Daisuke Miura is directing, while Ging Nang Boyz frontman Kazunobu Mineta stars.
The story revolves around a salaryman in a dead-end job who becomes inspired to try out boxing after meeting an old acquaintance. Release is scheduled for fall 2009.
