Rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN has been chosen to provide the theme song for Takashi Yamazaki’s “Always: Zoku Sanchome no Yuhi,” the sequel to the 2005 “Always: Sanchome no Yuhi.” This is their first time singing the theme for a live-action film.
The song is titled “Hana no Na” and will be released on October 24, simultaneously with the band’s other new single, “Mayday.” The film opens on November 3.
