Charts: Ayaka, Tackey

On the albums chart this week, Ayaka took #1 with her first best collection, “Ayaka's History 2006-2009.” The album sold 348,000 copies, which marks the best opening week sales for a female artist so far this year.

The only other new album in the top ten was mihimaru GT’s “The Best Selection of ASIA” at #9.

Meanwhile, Hideaki Takizawa’s third single, “Hikari Hitotsu,” topped the singles chart at 43,000 copies. All three of his solo singles have ranked #1 in their first week.

Ikimono Gakari’s new single entered the charts at #2, followed by Nightmare and the announcer duo Early Morning. At #5, B'z kept their position from last week, while the bottom half of the top ten were all new releases: Every Little Thing, Ken Hirai, mihimaru GT, D, and TOKYO No.1 SOUL SET + HALCALI.
