Charts: Shuchishin, Mr.Children

Shuchishin topped the charts this week with “Yowamushi Santa,” their final single before they put their music activities on hiatus. It sold 152,000 copies, easily beating out Porno Graffitti’s new song “Koyoi, Tsuki ga Miezu Tomo,” which secured the #2 spot with 82,000 in sales.

A few other artists made the top ten list with fresh singles: Masayoshi Yamazaki (#5), DEEN (#6), alice nine. (#8), Shugo Chara Eggs! (#9), and Tommy heavenly6 (#10).

Mr.Children claimed victory on the album charts, moving 708,000 copies of “SUPERMARKET FANTASY.” Kiyoshi Hikawa’s new collection ranked 4th, while compilations by ALI PROJECT and Yosui Inoue landed at #8 and #10, respectively.
