Charts: YUKI, Yusuke

Judy and Mary’s YUKI released her fifth original album last week. Titled “Ureshikutte Dakiau Yo,” the album sold 103,000 copies in its first week, placing YUKI at the top of the charts. This is her fourth consecutive #1 album.

At #2 was a best album from L'Arc~en~Ciel, and new Avex artist ICONIQ (the current alias of Korean singer Ayumi) was right behind at #3 with her first Japanese album. THE ALFEE, Ken Yokoyama, w-inds., Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, and Shoko Nakagawa also broke the top ten.

On the singles chart, Yusuke Kamiji scored a #1 hit with “Lion,” selling 92,000 copies. The only other new songs in the top ten were from Ikimono Gakari (#3) and T-Pistonz + KMC (#4).
