The “Death Note” movie set went on sale on March 14 in Japan. The set includes both “Death Note” films, a bonus DVD, a music CD, and a special booklet.
In anticipation of high demand, a total of 500,000 units shipped for the initial release, which translates into 1 million copies of the movies. This initial shipment is the largest so far of all domestic films released in 2006.
