Earthsea remains on top, Teshima regains

Studio Ghibli’s Tales from Earthsea, also known as Gedo Senki, kept its top spot at the box office this weekend. Meanwhile, the tie-in single “Therru no Uta” by Aoi Teshima (who plays Therru’s voice in the film) climbed back up the Oricon singles chart to settle within the top ten again this week at #9. The single debuted at #5 in early June and remained in the top 20 throughout July.
