At a press conference on Sunday, the MCs for the 48th Japan Record Awards were announced. Masaaki Sakai will be hosting the awards for his 11th consecutive year, but this time he will be joined by models Yuri Ebihara and Moe Oshikiri. Announcers Shinichiro Azumi and Maya Kobayashi will again serve as assistant hosts. The awards show will air on TBS on December 30, starting at 6:30pm.
