Shuji Abe’s manga “Elite Yankee Saburo” will become a drama series this spring. It will air in TV Tokyo’s “Drama 24” time slot (Friday at midnight), starting on April 13.
Hideo Ishiguro will appear in his first lead drama role as the protagonist, Saburo. The heroine, Haruna, will be played by Miss Magazine 2006, Kana Kurashina. Also appearing in the series is Toshiyuki Itakura (of comedy duo Impulse) in his first role as a regular.
