Emi Wakui stars in “Shijuukunichi no Recipe”

Emi Wakui (39) will star in an NHK drama miniseries titled “Shijuukunichi no Recipe,” set to start next year. The drama is adapted from a novel of the same name by writer Yuki Ibuki.

Wakui plays a woman who returns to the home of her family, who are trying to recover from the loss of her dear stepmother. Jun Fubuki, Shiro Ito, Gota Watabe, Eri Tokunaga, and Yuko Fueki have also been cast.

The series will last four episodes, starting on February 15. NHK will broadcast the show in its Tuesday 10:00pm time slot.
