Fashion model Mini launches singing career

A fashion model and modeling agency president will make her debut as a singer next year. Her artist name will be Mini, seemingly a reference to the skirts she wears to show off her long legs, which are said to be insured for 100 million yen.

Mini, who stands at 159 centimeters tall with 88-cm legs, appears in fashion magazines such as JELLY and BLENDA. Two years ago, she founded a management agency that currently represents about 20 models.

Mini has been aiming to become a singer since the age of 15. She is finally achieving that dream with the help of JIN (32), the musician who produces for artists such as GReeeeN. JIN put together the song “Are U Ready?,” which Mini will release as her first single in February. It will have a tie-in with the commercial for Suzuki’s Chevrolet MW, which she will also appear in.
