Filming for the movie “HERO” recently began at the Osanbashi Hall in Yokohama. The film, directed by Masayuki Suzuki, is a continuation of the popular 2001 drama series starring Takuya Kimura and Takako Matsu. That series averaged a 34.3% rating, and its popularity was proven again when a special episode that aired last year achieved a 30.9% rating.
The movie features the public prosecutor Kuryu (Kimura) back at work in Tokyo, along with the cast from the original series. He gets placed in charge of a seemingly small case, but an unexpected turn of events turns it into his most difficult one yet.
